Position: Electrical Installer for Charging Stations

Full-time/Part-time

Job Summary: As an Electrical Installer for Charging Stations, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. Your expertise in electrical systems, wiring, and equipment will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation and safety of charging infrastructure for our clients. You will work closely with a team of talented professionals, including electricians, engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality charging solutions to our customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair EV charging stations in compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Conduct site visits and assessments to determine the best location and layout for charging stations, considering factors such as power availability, load calculations, and user convenience.

  • Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop installation plans, including equipment selection, material requirements, and project timelines.

  • Perform electrical wiring, connections, and grounding for charging stations, ensuring proper installation and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Conduct testing and commissioning of charging stations to ensure optimal functionality and performance.

  • Collaborate with the electrical team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or malfunctions in charging stations.

  • Keep accurate records of installation and maintenance activities, including service reports, equipment logs, and documentation of any modifications or repairs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

  • Proven experience as an electrical installer or electrician.

  • Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring techniques, and equipment used in charging stations.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.

  • Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites as required.

  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in installing and maintaining EV charging stations or renewable energy systems.

  • Knowledge of smart charging technologies and software integration.

  • Experience working with different charging station manufacturers and models.

  • Additional certifications or training related to electrical installations, EV infrastructure, or renewable energy systems.
